About me
With over 20 years' experience teaching Media, English and Visual Arts, I currently coordinate the Melbourne Metrics program at Fitzroy High. This year I have made a digital portfolio system with embedded complex competency assessment questionnaires. Once students have collected evidence of their learning, they answer reflection questions and select teachers to validate their progress in the "5Cs": Creativity, Cognition, Communication, Commitment and Community. Students then receive level patches and growth charts to celebrate their current success and make clear goals for the future.
