About me
I've been working in education since 2010, having spent the first fifteen years of my career at St Bede's College in Mentone, a boys catholic school in Melbourne. During my time at St Bede's I worked as the Head of Mathematics and then Teaching and Learning Leader. My proudest achievement was the implementation of a school wide data strategy across two campuses.
More recently I have moved to Sacre Coeur in Glen Iris, a high performing Catholic girls school. This year I have taken on the role of Data and Evidence Lead, a P-12 strategic role looking at bringing in many of the data-informed practices that my team brought in at my previous place of employment.
I'm a Mathematics teacher and have taught all levels from 7-12, but these days most prominently teach VCE Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics. I'm also VCE assessor for Specialist Maths and can be seen as a Maths Methods presenter for Edrolo for both the VCE and QCE.
In 2024 I presented at the Edrolo Teach-Meet in the Melbourne Connect Building on the topic of 'Taking Ownership of Data' - I would be keen to present something similar at the upcoming Data in Schools Conference.
